Carey Griffel
Carey Griffel has been following the trail of biblical theology for almost a decade now. In fact,
she credits her entrance into the historic, Trinitarian faith to the work of scholars such as Dr.
Michael Heiser, who demonstrated just how rich the waters of biblical scholarship were, full of
historical treasures that have been held by the church for thousands of years. Carey is a
certificate holder of the AWKNG School of Theology and holds a Masters degree in biblical
studies from Redemption Seminary. Her passion for biblical theology and bridging gaps
between the academy and the church led her to host her own podcast, Genesis Marks the Spot.
Carey treasures life at home with her husband, four children, two shiba inu, two tabby cats, and
one turtle (though, sadly, no donkeys). When not homeschooling, podcasting, playing board
games, reading, researching, writing, doing art of all kinds, or coming up with new ways to
arrange rooms, she might be found chatting with people over interesting theological questions
and staring at the dollhouse in the corner wondering if it will ever get done.
