Joshua Sherman

Joshua is an avid student of Scripture and theology. He is an admin for Dr. Heiser’s Divine Council Worldview group on Facebook, and he’s been a guest on numerous podcasts, including The Two Trees, Genesis Marks the Spot, and Faith Unaltered.

Joshua holds a Bachelor’s degree in Christian Theology from Seattle Pacific University and has taken a number of classes from the AWKNG School of Theology. He specifically enjoys studying topics like the Image of God, the Gospel, and sacrifice and atonement.

He works professionally in the corporate world, has spent many years in music ministry in church, and lives with his wife and two kids in Western Colorado. Having joined the Eastern Orthodox Church in 2022, he continues to engage with Christians across denominations, encouraging spiritual growth, healthy dialog, and a focus on the Gospel.

He hosts a podcast called “Tending Our Nets”, which focuses on the Gospel and on related topics – with about 50 episodes currently available. He is currently focused on writing a book on Romans 8-11 and on guest appearances on podcasts, but plans to return to making new content for “Tending Our Nets” in the near future.
